The family-run bakery chain, The Crusty Cob, which had nine locations in Devon and Somerset, announced its closure with immediate effect. The business, operated by the Tubbs family for 55 years, attributed the closure to factors including the current state of the bakery industry, shrinking customer base, and rising costs like inflation and wage increases.
The administrators Azets have appointed CAPA to carry out an Rates audit over the portfolio.
