Zelf Hussain, Rachael Wilkinson and Peter Dickens of PWC were appointed as the joint administrators of Carpetright on 22 July 2024.
PWC has appointed CAPA to carry out an audit of the 273 properties occupied by Carpetright at the date of administration and any previously occupied property over the past 5 years including all retail stores, warehouses and offices, working alongside Chad Monerville of the PWC Real Estate team
Tony Sweeney who heads up CAPA's audit division: "We are delighted to be working with PWC again following our recent audit work on Wilko, Laura Ashley and Mothercare. Our instructions on both distressed and solvent portfolios indicates there are significant recoveries to be made on past property outgoings".
