KROLL appoints CAPA on haulage administration
North Hykeham-based Cartwright Bros (Haulage) Ltd, which recently celebrated 80 years in business, has entered administration and closed its doors as of June 20, 2024. The administration process is being handled by Kroll.
Founded in 1944 by brothers John, James, William, and Keith Cartwright to serve the agricultural sector, the company has been a prominent player in the haulage industry. Notably, in the early 1950s, it delivered sandbags along the east coast to combat storm damage. Over the decades, it has served major businesses, primarily in agriculture, as well as internationally renowned companies.
CAPA have been appointed to carry out a full property audit on the companies properties.

Colin Wilson and Emma Mifsud, both of Opus Restructuring LLP, were appointed as joint administrators of Bedworld Factory Shop Limited on 10 July 2024.
Upon the appointment of administrators, the business and assets were sold to connected company Express Beds.

Zelf Hussain, Rachael Wilkinson and Peter Dickens of PWC were appointed as the joint administrators of Carpetright on 22 July 2024.
PWC has appointed CAPA to carry out an audit of the 273 properties occupied by Carpetright at the date of administration and any previously occupied property over the past 5 years including all retail stores, warehouses and offices, working alongside Chad Monerville of the PWC Real Estate team

Sponsoring Gordon Brothers 31st Annual Golf Tournament
CAPA were sponsors of the Gordon Brothers 31st Annual Golf Tournament in Boston which took place on July 15th 2024 at the Pinehills Golf Club in Plymouth, MA.
The Family Support Fund benefiting Boston Children's Hospital hosted the 31st Annual Charity Golf Tournament in memory of Bernice and Philip Frieze.
The fund raised another record-setting amount. The hospital can now distribute $700,000 annually, which is a $100,000 increase over last year, to help families cover their non-medical expenses. Over the last 31 years, the Family Support Fund has raised a total of $6.6 million.
