    PWC has appointed CAPA to carry out an audit of the 273 properties occupied by Carpetright at the date of administration and any previously occupied property over the past 5 years including all retail stores, warehouses and offices, working alongside Chad Monerville of the PWC Real Estate team

  • Sponsoring Gordon Brothers 31st Annual Golf Tournament

    CAPA were sponsors of the Gordon Brothers 31st Annual Golf Tournament in Boston which took place on July 15th 2024 at the Pinehills Golf Club in Plymouth, MA.

    The Family Support Fund benefiting Boston Children's Hospital hosted the 31st Annual Charity Golf Tournament in memory of Bernice and Philip Frieze.

    The fund raised another record-setting amount. The hospital can now distribute $700,000 annually, which is a $100,000 increase over last year, to help families cover their non-medical expenses. Over the last 31 years, the Family Support Fund has raised a total of $6.6 million.

    A Bicester brewery is closing its doors after six years due to cost increases and "significant disruption over the past few years".

    The Wriggly Monkey Brewery announced its closure this week and urged people to support independent businesses.

    In a statement, the business said: "It is with immense sadness that we must call time on The Wriggly Monkey Brewery".

    The brewing industry and the wider hospitality sector has faced unprecedented cost increases and significant disruption over the last few years that have challenged the brewery’s viability going forwards.

  • Rivus Fleet Solutions Ltd (in admin)

    Tim Higgins, Jane Steer and Zelf Hussain of PwC have been appointed as Joint Administrators of Rivus Fleet Solutions Limited (“the Company”). The appointment was made on 21 June 2024.

    Immediately following appointment a sale of the majority of Rivus Fleet Solutions (“the Company”) and its assets was transacted to the Metropolitan Police Service (the Met) in a deal that safeguards 165 jobs and secures the delivery of crucial services to the Met.

    Headquartered in Birmingham, the Company provided fleet management and repairs and maintenance services for fleets of light commercial vehicles. The Company’s main customer, representing over 85% of the business, was the Met, which will now deliver elements of the service in house

    Begbies Traynor, the administrators of Caskade, Castlebarn and Grovemaze (in admin) have appointed CAPA to carry out a property audit over 52 sites trading as Taco Bell and KFC franchises.

    It's understood the administrators have successfully sold 46 Taco Bell branches to Karali Group as part of a pre pack administration.
