Senior manager joins CAPA to build audit division
Find out moreCAPA, the property and audit consultancy, has appointed an experienced senior manager to lead the accounts payable team in its Audit division.
Steve Dodsworth is now spearheading the CAPA team that audits invoice data, across hundreds of branches, for a range of blue-chip companies including McDonald’s and Co-op.
His team undertakes a forensic analysis of accounts payable information to identify overspend and error, before recovering vast sums of cash for clients. His remit also includes growing this part of CAPA’s business.
With more than 20 years’ experience in auditing, Steve has previously worked with CAPA’s co-founder, Tony Sweeney, as well as the recovery audit firm PRGX where he led teams working with large retailers.

Leonard Curtis entrusts CAPA with over 200 cases in 2017
Find out moreLeonard Curtis Business Rescue and Recovery has instructed CAPA on 220 cases during 2017, appointing the audit and property consultancy on some of its largest cases.
CAPA has worked closely with Leonard Curtis throughout 2017 to undertake a range of services including forensic audits of property service charges, utility bills and invoices owed to insolvent companies.
One of the country's largest corporate restructuring and insolvency practices, Leonard Curtis Business Rescue and Recovery operates from 14 locations across the UK. Across just March and February this year, it appointed CAPA to carry out work on 48 different firms.

Monarch Airlines Ltd, which flew passengers to more than 40 destinations from the UK, and Monarch Travel Group Ltd, which offered package holidays, were placed into administration in October 2017. The two firms employed more than 2,000 staff.
